  Promotion Function for 5th Harbin Exports-to-Russia Exhibition was staged in Champion Sports Center, Vladivostok, Russia, at 11 am August 21 local time. Eight enterprises from Harbin did marketing promotion at the Function.

  Eight export-oriented enterprises from Harbin, which are competitive Harbin Dongjian Group, Harbin Postec Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., Harbin Hongqi Furniture Town, Harbin Hongguang Boiler General Factory, Harbin Center Economic Trade Co., Ltd., Harbin Golden Happiness Commercial Machinery Co., Ltd., Heilongjiang Yishengtang Healthcare Product Co., Ltd., and Harbin Jinheng Packaging Co., introduced their products in such fields as construction, machinery, medicine, and packing. At the Function, reporter learnt that many Russian enterprises and the visitors present were strongly interested in the products the Harbin enterprises demonstrated. Mr. Brezhnev, President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Primorsky Krai, came to the promotion function for two consecutive days. He was not only serious with the promotion activities, but also asked for more information from booth to booth. He said, “I will introduce the information of these Harbin companies to more enterprises in Primorsky Krai.”

  “Generally speaking, Russia is interested in all China’s commodities,” Mr. Brezhnev told reporter, “Because your products are of high quality and reasonable price.” According to him, as for development of Primorsky Krai, they are more interested in China’s mechanical and electronic products, foodstuff, maritime products, and wood processing equipment. “Primorsky Krai is rich in resources, but before, we mainly make preliminary processed products. Later on, we will extend the industrial chain, and do intensive processing of resources and recycling.”
